Prerequisite: No partner or experience needed. Absolute beginners are welcome!
Our Foundational Beginners swing dance course is designed for absolute beginners who have never danced before or dancers who want to continue their mastery of 6-count movements and learn new moves.
In this course, you’ll learn the core steps, rhythm, and partner connection that makes swing dancing feel natural and exciting. We’ll start with simple, easy-to-follow footwork and gradually build your confidence in leading and following. You’ll explore fun turns, stylish moves, and playful patterns that you can take straight to the social dance floor!
Swing Toolkit Doin’ the Jive Routine (Part 2)

Swing Toolkit: Frame & Connection
For week one of our Swing Toolkit series, Fallon & Jason will be teaching frame and connection. Good connection makes dancing feel easy, playful, and supportive. We’ll explore how to maintain your frame, communicate movement clearly, and really dance with your partner. A great class for levelling up your comfort and confidence on the dance floor!
