| Learn the Dance | Know Its Roots | Keep Dancing |
We are a non-profit swing dance organization in Calgary, Alberta dedicated to sharing the joy of Swing, Blues, and other vernacular jazz dances while honouring their Black American roots. We believe in learning these dances with care, curiosity, and respect for the communities and dancers who created them.
Our goal is to create a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive space for dancers of all backgrounds and ages, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals, to learn, grow, and connect. Whether you're stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or looking to deepen your dancing, we offer progressive classes, workshops, practice opportunities, and social events to help you keep growing as a dancer.
