Our Foundations to 8-Count Lindy Hop series is perfect for beginners who have never danced before, dancers who have been dancing a while and feel comfortable with 6-count Lindy Hop and are ready to learn more, for those looking for a refresher to focus on fundamentals, or to those wanting to learn the opposite role!
This series will be focused on 8-count patterns and shapes like swing outs, circles, turns, promenades, and more!Through the class, Tasha & Erik will teach a variety of these moves and teach you all the fundamental skills of connection, rhythm, pulse, and musicality.
This class is progressive and each week builds on the last. Drop in’s are welcome during the first two weeks, so you may try the class before you commit! You can come sign up & pay at the door.
We know it can be intimidating to try dance classes alone, so sign up with a friend and you both can get $20 off* each for the series! Select the “with friend” option, and mention who you’re signing up with on the registration form. Offer valid for new students.
Already took this class series before? If you want to retake the series, you can get 40% off, just email us to get the discount code! It’s a great opportunity to strengthen your foundations by learning for new instructors or learning the opposite dance role.
