We are a non-profit swing dance community in Calgary, Alberta dedicated to sharing the joy of Lindy Hop, Blues, and other jazz-era dances in a way that honours the African American roots. Our goal is to create a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive space for dancers of all backgrounds and ages, including POC and LGBTQ+ individuals, to connect, learn, and have fun.
Whether you’re looking for beginner swing dance classes in Calgary or hoping to deepen your swing dance skills, we offer progressive class series, workshops, and social dance events throughout the year! We have passionate and enthusiastic instructors eager to share their knowledge with you.

Foundations to Charleston
Tuesdays, March 3rd - April 7th @ 7pm - 8pm
$89/6 Week Series
No experience? No partner? No problem! This class will provide you with the foundations of Charleston. In this series you will learn a variety of moves, shapes, and rhythms that you can try out on the dance floor. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to learn a new swing style.
Foundations+ to Lindy Hop
Tuesdays, March 3rd - March 24th @ 8pm - 9pm

Have you been dancing a while and really want to work on improving your connection, rhythm, and movement vocabulary? Join Joey and Luis for this series where you will do just that. Experience in 6-count Lindy Hop is required, 8-count is an asset!
Solo Jazz Routine: Tranky Doo
Tuesdays, March 31st & April 7th @ 8pm - 9pm

The Tranky Doo is one of the three most popular solo jazz routines! Join Alexandria as she breaks down the steps in this routine. Perfect for anyone wanting to work on learning solo jazz vocabulary or wanting a challenge!
