Who are we?
We are a non-profit swing dance community in Calgary, Alberta dedicated to sharing the joy of Lindy Hop and jazz-era dances in a way that honours the African American roots. Our goal is to create a welcoming, inclusive space for dancers of all backgrounds and ages, including POC and LGBTQ+ individuals, to connect, learn, and have fun. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, we invite you to join us for our classes, social dances, and special events!

Foundations to Lindy Hop (8-count)
Thursdays, Jan 15-Feb 19 @ 7pm - 8pm
$89/6 Week Series
No experience? No partner? No problem! This class will provide you with the foundations of Lindy Hop. You will learn a variety of 8-count moves that you can try out on the dance floor. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to brush up on their basics, technique, and skills.
Mama’s Stew Routine
Thursday Jan 15th & 22nd @ 8pm - 9pm

Mama’s Stew is a fast paced and energetic solo jazz choreography from the early 1960’s! Taylor Marcus will be be breaking down this routine making it easy for anyone to learn.
Foundations to Blues

Blues is a distinct style of music and dance separate from Swing. Explore the different ways to feel the music and play with movements and styles of connection.
